Common questions
A little clarity.
A first step forward.
Every case depends on its facts.
These answers are a starting point.
What should I gather before contacting you?
Keep relevant consumer reports, dispute letters and results, collection letters, call logs, text messages, and any credit-denial notices. A simple timeline can help. You can contact us before you have everything together.
Can I dispute a credit report error myself?
Yes. Consumers can dispute inaccurate information directly with the reporting company and the company that supplied it. Keep copies of what you submit and the responses. If the problem continues, contact us to discuss the circumstances.
Does owing a debt mean a collector can do anything?
No. Applicable consumer protection laws can restrict how a debt is collected, even when the debt is owed. Whether particular conduct violates the law depends on the facts and the parties involved.
Is there a charge for the initial case evaluation?
The initial case evaluation is free. Any attorney fees, expenses, and representation terms will be addressed separately before you retain the firm.
Does submitting the form make me a client?
No. Sending a form, calling, or emailing does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. The firm must agree to represent you. Do not use the form for urgent deadlines or send confidential documents until the firm advises you how to do so.
